I had a very peculiar dream last night. I dreamt that my ball python Violet was severely dehydrated and I was worried about her. My husband and I were fighting over what was best for her health. In the dream he believed that she needed food and he had this machine that would make this beef sausage type of food to feed her. I was telling him no! She needs water she’s obviously dehydrated! We were literally shoving each other in the kitchen fighting over our snake’s needs. I shoved him aside and got a cup of water, which I poured onto her and then she became healthy again and I was relieved!

This dream was racking my brain for a bit because I knew it was significant and definitely was trying to convey something! After some time of mediation and pondering, it clicked! We women know what we need to be nourished, to feel nourished. Before abrahamic religions took power, the snake was a symbol of the esoteric, power, sensuality, death and rebirth and transformation. Snakes were strong symbols of the feminine. Snakes are representative of the sacred feminine.

So what is experienced in the dream? The struggle between the masculine and the feminine, especially when she knows what she needs. How often have you noticed or experienced a woman’s cry for help and no one takes her seriously? Such as the Lindsay Clancy case where she repeatedly sought help, only to be dismissed or given the wrong help instead of the help she actually needed? This happens every day to women, doctors not believing their pain or symptoms.

So what happens daily? Women are mansplained, told it’s not a big deal, they’re over reacting, being dramatic or just outright dismissed. Sadly, a lot of these men actually mean well and don’t realize the harm they’re causing. Even medicine has been mostly based on a man’s body and then they wonder why women are different when they haven’t been studied enough?

All this to say, we are currently fighting the system of the Patriarchy when we try to tell them what we need or what would actually help us. The only way to reclaim our sovereignty under the patriarchy is by taking matters into our own hands as best we can. Like in the dream when I just grabbed the cup of water and poured it onto my snake. This is why I am so passionate about embracing the archetype of the demoness within us.

I’ am not talking about hurting children or people when I say demoness, I am not talking about doing evil things. Instead I am talking about reclaiming the rawest, most repressed part ourselves back from the patriarchy. The ungovernable woman, the one that refuses to abide by the patriarchy’s rules and standards. The woman who decided to embody the wild parts of themselves that make men scared. You know they’re scared when they’re threatening you, because they can’t control you. Trust me the patriarchy is defenseless against millions of women who rise up as the witches, bitches and demons they always feared!

I am currently opening 6 seats for my 6 months one on one container UNLEASHED in September. In UNLEASHED we will go deep into the underworld and our shadows to get to know the demon aspect of Lilith that most people can’t accept. Remember Lilith is inside all of us, so not being to accept, integrate, love and embody the darkest parts of Lilith means we haven’t fully accepted those shadow part of ourselves. I am only taking 6 women or femmes with me. If you’re ready to UNLEASH click the button below👇Lilith is waiting for you.
