If you follow me on Instagram or are here then you already know what’s been going on with me for a while. I became a priestess, it was not only a soul calling but also a life calling. I had denying this part of myself for so long, so long that look backing I was holding myself back from the life I wanted. Which was to be my truest authentic self. But because my dad had told me that this was my destiny according to my astrological birth chart, I wanted to prove him wrong.
I wanted to make a full time living as an independent artist, but what always held me back was the funds to grow it more. Especially when I wasn’t allowed to pursue my dreams growing up in the culture I came from, so I chased it when I got older. But it only gets harder the older you get, you have more responsibilities, more bills, more pets, more commitments etc. So the last few years became the hardest I’ve ever lived and am still living!
What happens when everything is stripped away from you? Your home, your car, your job, your safety? You descend into a dark night of the soul or you go through a transformation. This is how I got thrown into the path of the Priestess by my guides, the Dragons and the dark goddesses. And even more so recently since Amazon pushed me on to a leave of absence without pay because of my scoliosis condition and shortly after fired my husband! This has been the initiation into the Priestess path and the descent for me.
So due to life I haven’t been able to release any new music to go along with the EP Raise your sword. At this moment I am being called to offer my priestess services to not loose our apartment and to make space for the music again. I am so sorry that I have gotten overwhelmed by life and therefore have not been to finish this EP already and keep releasing new music. I am working on fixing this.
