Death of the "Good Girl" Accommodation

I woke up to a notification that felt like a door slamming in my face.

After months of giving my labor to a warehouse that sees me as a number, they denied my accommodation. They gave me a choice: take a forced leave of absence or risk being fired. For a moment I felt the terror and fear of my ancestors before me, but then I also felt a sense of calm. I was born for this!

I was never made to live by the man’s rules. I was always a rule breaker, a rebel, hell even an outcast and it wasn’t until I embraced my inner Witch that I started feeling like I belonged. Now more recently I’ve embraced my Priestess self and have felt more embodied, free and true than ever! But what about rent? The voices came back and for a few days they almost had me!

But then something beautiful happened this morning and I lie awake in my bed. I heard Hecate, Lilith and the Morrigan call me. They said “Come child sit with us, light candles for us, meditate with us, read the tarot cards with us. Everything is going to be ok, you won’t be homeless, rent will be paid”.

So I went into my magick/music room and light a purple candle for Hecate, a red one for Lilith and a black one for the Morrigan. Then I sat and I listened, then I felt compelled to journal and write down what they were telling me. I meditated with them and went on a journey. I was at crossroads, will I let the fear cripple me or will I stand in my power and be the Priestess I am being asked to be?

Then I crossed the river, over to the other side of where the Dragons were waiting for me. Standing behind me, protecting me. Reminding me that I am protected in these times. When I was done with the journey, I was told to draw three Tarot cards. One for Hecate, one for Lilith and one the Morrigan.

I got Temperance as Hecate’s message to me, 10 of cups as the message from Lilith and 9 of pentacles from The Morrigan. Hecate wants me to relax and let go and receive, Lilith is reminding that being sovereign is the ultimate fulfillment at home and The Morrigan is telling me that I will be financially sovereign and safe in my own metaphorical garden. The answer is clear rent is getting paid!

They also told me that all this happening because I was never going to step into the role of the Priestess or make music again while I was at Amazon having every bit of my magic sucked out of me on the daily. This is not a punishment, this is an initiation into my true sovereignty, what I’ve always wanted all my life! To be unapologetically me! With fire and all!

Real power isn’t about everything going perfectly. It’s about standing in your room with three lit candles, a denied request from a billion-dollar corporation, and a 9 of Pentacles energy that says: I am the source of my own abundance.
